Work at Adelaide Fringe

Adelaide Fringe employs a team of year round staff who work in marketing, partnerships, program operations, production, finance and ticketing. As we come closer to festival season, we also advertise a wide range of short-term contract roles and casual positions.

Positions Available

› Artist Ticketing Coordinator

The Artist Ticketing Coordinator is one of a team of Coordinators, working collaboratively with the Ticketing Manager, Senior Ticketing Coordinator, Ticketing Programs Manager and Schools Coordinator.

The main objectives of the role are to provide excellent and efficient service for the registered artists, venues and presenters participating in Adelaide Fringe 2025 and to assist in all manner of their ticketing requests. The role includes working collaboratively on a shared inbox, as well as face-to-face ticketing services as required. The Artist Ticketing Coordinator will work extensively with our in-house Artist and Venue registration platform (AVR) and ticketing software Red61. At times, the need may arise for the Artist Ticketing Coordinator to support the Box Office Coordinators, which may include the management of Box Office and Customer Service Casuals. In the lead up to and during the delivery of Adelaide Fringe, the Artist Ticketing Coordinator will be
required to work outside of normal business hours (weekends and evenings) over a 7 day rotating roster.

› Box Office and Customer Service Coordinator

The Box Office Coordinator is one of a team of Coordinators who assist with the management of the Box Office and Customer Service teams, Information Booth volunteers, and successful bump-in and roll out of the FringeTix Box Offices across the CBD and suburban locations. The role includes staff supervision, assisting with rostering, merchandise fulfilment, implementation of WHS requirements, Fringe policies and procedures, and general logistics for the supervision of a large team.

Additionally, this role will assist with the roll out of e-ticketing across the festival and support venues and artists in their implementations of the technology. Key tasks include arts administration as well as face to face, phone and online sales of tickets, vouchers, membership and merchandise, as well as collaborative leadership of all casual FringeTIX staff. The role will require a high level of collaborative and inspiring leadership, excellent customer service for Adelaide Fringe patrons as well as a positive demeanour to deliver a high standard of ticketing services to the venues and artists we serve.

› Office Coordinator

The Office Coordinator is the initial point of contact for Adelaide Fringe employees and stakeholders at Adelaide Fringe and plays a pivotal role in the effective daily running of a busy and dynamic office. This position is required to be personable and professional when providing exceptional customer service to the broad range of customers and stakeholders. Outstanding administration skills are also a crucial element of this position.

› Senior Box Office and Customer Service Coordinator

The Senior Box Office Coordinator will lead a team of Coordinators, who together will assist with the management of the Box Office and Customer Service teams, Information Booth volunteers, and successful bump-in and roll out of the FringeTix Box Offices across the CBD and suburban locations. The role includes staff management, budget and rostering, merchandise fulfilment, implementation of WHS requirements, Fringe policies and procedures, and general logistics for the supervision of a large team.

Additionally, this role will lead the roll out of e-ticketing across the festival and support venues and artists in their implementations of the technology. Key tasks include arts administration as well as face to face, phone and online sales of tickets, vouchers, membership and merchandise, as well as supporting Coordinators, Supervisors and casual FringeTIX staff. The role will require a high level of collaborative and inspiring leadership, attention to detail, excellent customer service for Adelaide Fringe patrons as well as a positive demeanour to deliver a high standard of ticketing services to the venues and artists we serve.

› Ticketing Programs Coordinator

The Ticketing Programs Coordinator will be instrumental in the delivery of the special programs at Adelaide Fringe. As part of the Ticketing department, the Programs Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of media accreditation and ticketing for Adelaide Fringe, fielding general media inquiries regarding accreditation, assisting with the ongoing maintenance of the media database and monitoring the publication of reviews. They are responsible for coordinating and processing tickets that allow accredited Fringe Media to attend and review Adelaide Fringe registered events.

The Ticketing Programs Coordinator will also assist the Business Development department by developing relationships with and issuing tickets for the Community Fund Program as well as servicing Fringe Ticket Giveaways. Additionally, the Ticketing Program Coordinator will assist the Ticketing team in the Accessibility Provision project ahead of Program Launch. This position will help to deliver the Awards and Honey Pot programs in their ticketing components and assist the greater Ticketing team in delivering Adelaide Fringe 2025.
