Help us reach our goal!

Giving Day is Adelaide Fringe Foundation’s biggest day of community support – a 24-hour fundraising campaign that helps children and young people across South Australia experience the magic of live arts.

For many families, the cost of tickets, transport, and life circumstances can make something as simple as attending a show completely out of reach. Giving Day exists to change that.

Through the Community Fund, your donation helps provide free and subsidised Fringe tickets to schools and children facing disadvantage – creating moments of joy, wonder, and inclusion that can be truly life-changing.

Last year, Giving Day raised over $161,000 and supported more than 10,400 people to attend Fringe who otherwise would have missed out.

In 2026, our goal is $200,000 – so more children across South Australia can experience the magic of Fringe for the very first time.

Every donation made on Giving Day will be matched by our generous partners, meaning the impact of your gift goes even further.

Real Stories, Real Impact

Recently, a Year 3 class from Mount Gambier attended their very first Fringe experience thanks to donor support. Their teacher shared how much it meant for students who carry real stress about what their families can and can’t afford – and the excitement of simply being able to be part of something special.

“Opportunities like attending Fringe are invaluable, socially and academically – they show what is possible for my students in the future” - Rachel, Year 3 teacher at Melaleuca Park Primary School

"Whoa… I can’t believe we’re actually here" - Year 3 student at Melaleuca Park Primary School, on arrival at the Adelaide Fringe Immersive Worlds experience
