Artist Ticketing Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the build and proofing of all Adelaide Fringe events within the Red61 Ticketing and AVR Platforms, making them ready for the printed Guide and Full Program launch.
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with artists, venues and promoters and assist with all aspects of ticketing, including but not limited to: changing and adding price types, managing holds, managing and understanding split allocations, performing batch printing, issuing complimentary tickets, applying promo codes/ticket offers and explaining ticketing fees & changes to key stakeholders
  • Update and make changes to events, performances and venues when requested by the registered body after on sale 
  • Communicate and liaise with Adelaide Fringe internal departments (Artist and Venues, Production, Honey Pot etc.) to ensure staff have the latest information on venues, events and accessibility
  • Assist Ticketing Program Coordinators, Honey Pot, Awards, Media, Schools Program and any other internal department with the processing of ticketing for Adelaide Fringe
  • To liaise with customers, address customer complaints, provide Adelaide Fringe patrons with a high level of customer service and satisfactory resolutions in relation to the organisation’s Terms and Conditions and LPA guidelines.
  • Enforce all FringeTIX ticketing policies regarding but not limited to exchanges & refunds.
  • Assist with maintaining the operational day-to-day running of all aspects of FringeTIX and associated customer services.
  • Assist with FringeTIX Box Office with customer service interviews, staff training and inductions where required.
  • Undertake all projects and activities as directed by the Head of Digital, Marketing and Ticketing Operations, Head of Operations and Fringe Director & Chief Executive as required
  • Observe and follow all work health & safety regulations and safe working practices, with particular attention to FringeTIX Box Offices (off-site locations)
  • Data cleaning, organisation and analysis, supporting the Ticketing team with statistics requests.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • Demonstrated experience and proven ability in ticketing/box office management or supervisory role, in a festival or events background
  • Previous experience with Ticketing Software
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a broad range of committed staff and stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, in a professional and ethical manner
  • High level computer literacy and competency with ticketing systems, databases, internet, email (Outlook), G Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to manage complex tasks, on the job learning and competing deadlines concurrently. Ability to remain agile and focussed during festival weeks.
  • Exemplary attention to detail with a track record of meticulous record keeping
  • Ability to manage and reconcile a large number of online, telephone and face to face sales
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service delivery and ability to resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Familiarity with LPA guidelines, Data Protection, PCI compliance and current ticketing/box office knowledge
  • Current Police Clearance check if successful
  • Essential Flexibility and willingness to work evening and weekends over a seven day rotating roster
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
  • Comprehensive back-end experience building venues and events within the Red61 ticketing system
  • Experience managing or supervising a team of multiple employees
  • Experience working in an open-access arts festival environment
