These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Adelaide Fringe (ABN 71 660 859 461) for the use and sale of tickets, membership and vouchers. By purchasing a ticket, membership or voucher you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
FringeTIX® tickets, vouchers, merchandise and memberships are sold subject to the following terms and conditions:
FringeTIX® is a registered trademark of Adelaide Fringe Inc.
All Adelaide Fringe tickets are sold through FringeTIX® on behalf of the organisation or artists responsible for providing the event and subject to the conditions applicable to that event or for the venue where presented.
All tickets include a $3.00 Customer Booking Fee, included in the advertised ticket price. This fee is refundable.
All transactions made online at www.adelaidefringe.com.au incur a $1.80 Web Transaction Fee. This fee is refundable.
Any discounted ticket offer does not apply to the $3 Customer Booking Fee. The discount will only apply to the ticket price less the $3 Customer Booking Fee, this includes but is not limited to promo code discounts, 25% off BankSA Customer and Fringe Membership Pricing and 2 4 1 offers.
Transactions made over the phone or at a box office incur no additional transaction fees.
All ticket sales are final. Adelaide Fringe will not refund, cancel or exchange any ticket except in accordance with Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice and otherwise as required by law.
Refunds are only permitted if a performance is cancelled, re-scheduled or significantly re- located (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the re-scheduled or re-located event).
If you are late to a show, the Venue staff may refuse to admit you unless there is a suitable break in the performance. In these circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund.
If an event or performance is cancelled, your ticket may be exchanged or refunded via the point of sale.
If the ticket price is discounted after you purchase your ticket, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Refunds for tickets purchased by credit card will be refunded to that credit card.
Tickets purchased by cash, cheque or EFTPOS will be refunded by direct EFT deposit.
Tickets purchased by Fringe Voucher will be refunded back to the original voucher. No cash refunds will be issued for purchases made by voucher.
Adelaide Fringe offers exchanges on tickets if all of the following conditions are met:
- The request for an exchange is submitted to FringeTIX in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
- The request for an exchange is made at a minimum of 48 hours prior to the original performance start time
- The original performance is not sold out
- The request for exchange is for the same event
- The customer has provided proof of the destruction of the original tickets, should hardcopy tickets have been issued
- The request is approved by the artist or presenter, after being submitted in writing by FringeTIX
A $5.00 exchange fee is payable by the customer at the time of exchange, if the exchange is approved.
If exchanging into a cheaper performance, customers will not be reimbursed the difference in ticket price.
General Terms and Conditions
If an event is cancelled, no obligation is assumed by Adelaide Fringe Inc. for arranging a substitute event. If the event organiser permits refunds, the customer booking fee included in the advertised ticket price is non-refundable. Refunds for tickets purchased by credit card will be refunded to that credit card. Tickets purchased by cash, cheque or EFTPOS will be refunded by cheque. Tickets purchased by Fringe Vouchers will be refunded back to the original voucher.
The right is reserved by the event organiser to add, withdraw or substitute artists or vary advertised events, ticket prices, audience capacity or seating arrangements and make other variations as necessary.
The venue’s management reserves the right to refuse admission.
No audio or video recorders or cameras may be taken into the venue or used without permission of the event organiser and venue management by prior arrangement. A breach of this condition may lead to the confiscation of all equipment and removal of the patron from the venue. Mobile phones taken into the venue may not be used for the purpose of recording the performance.
No drugs, weapons, food, glass containers, umbrellas or lasers may be taken into the venue.
Some venues have no alcohol or non-smoking restrictions. Refer to conditions of entry at venue.
The event organiser reserves the right to film, video, record, photograph, broadcast or telecast the event.
FringeTIX® collects your personal information in case of an event cancellation or change. If you fail to supply sufficient and appropriate contact information FringeTIX® is not responsible for failure to contact you.
Ticket scalping is illegal. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium price. Use of tickets in a manner which breaches any of these terms and conditions may attract criminal penalties.
This pre-sale is a 48 hour restricted access sale exclusively to BankSA Customers, ahead of all tickets being on public sale on 29th November 2018 and is at the discretion of the Adelaide Fringe. There is no guarantee for ticket availability to BankSA Customers.
BankSA Customers are required to enter the first 6 digits of their BankSA issued card to grant access to tickets at www.adelaidefringe.com.au.

Your order confirmation and physical Fringe ticket will feature a QR code. Please read all information on your order confirmation carefully, as this will inform you how your venue will admit you.
Your order confirmation or eTicket can be presented at the venue on a smart phone or tablet.
Some venues may require you to visit the venue box office to print or collect your tickets prior to attending the performance, check your order confirmation for details.
The venues management reserves the right to deny entry to an event if you arrive late. Many shows have a strict no latecomer policy and no refunds will be issued if you are denied entry. Latecomer policies are in place to prevent disruption to the performers and other audience members. Shows will endeavour to commence at the advertised time, please ensure you are at the event well in advance of the performance start time.
Replacement of lost or stolen tickets is subject to approval from the event organiser.
FringeTIX® reserves the right to not replace general admission tickets.
Proof of original purchase must be presented for replacement of tickets to reserved seating events. FringeTIX® reserves the right to charge a fee for any re-issued tickets.
The purchase of a Fringe Membership scheme covers the member for 365 days from the purchase date. Memberships are non-refundable.
A one-off payment of $25.00 per year is required to become a Fringe Member, this can be purchased online, over the phone or at any of the Adelaide Fringe box offices.
Adelaide Fringe reserves the right to make alterations to the Fringe Membership scheme and its benefits from time to time and without prior notice
The Fringe Member 25% off ticket offer is only available on selected shows. The offer is only applicable against full priced tickets and cannot be redeemed on Cheap Tuesday or Preview performances.
To access the Fringe Member 25% off ticket offer, members must be logged in and add 2 Full Price tickets to their cart. The discount will automatically be calculated in checkout.
Replacement of lost or stolen Fringe Membership cards or other collateral is subject to approval from Adelaide Fringe Inc. Please email email@example.com or call +61 8100 2000 if you require assistance.
Your Fringe Membership number is your Booking Reference Number displayed when you purchased your membership (also contained in your confirmation email). You can also find your membership details in the MyDetails section of your MyFringe account at www.adelaidefringe.com.au
All tickets won through Fringe Membership® giveaway competitions are the responsibility of the event organiser, artist or promoter and are non-refundable or exchangeable. It is not the responsibility of Fringe Membership, if an event is cancelled, to provide a refund or offer a new prize to the winner.
Some shows included in the Fringe Member 25% off ticket offer allocate only a portion of their tickets, so these tickets are limited. It may be possible to still purchase tickets for a show’s performance at full price even though the Fringe Member offer allocation has sold out. All tickets are subject to availability.

Fringe Membership® collects your personal information in order to provide you with the most relevant information and to contact you in relation to an event cancellation that you have purchased through the Fringe Membership® program. If you fail to supply sufficient and appropriate contact information, Fringe Membership is not responsible for failure to contact you.

Fringe Vouchers expire on April 14 2019.
Vouchers can be redeemed on any Fringe event, merchandise and memberships.
Vouchers will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Please treat your voucher as if it were cash, they cannot be reissued and Adelaide Fringe takes no responsibility if your voucher is misplaced and is then redeemed by another customer.
If a show is cancelled and you are entitled to a refund, your refund will be returned to your voucher. This is a condition of sale of the purchase of your tickets with a voucher.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
Any unspent value remaining on your voucher after April 14 2019 will be automatically donated to the Adelaide Fringe artist fund and cannot be redeemed after this date.
Concession card holders
Holders of valid concession cards are eligible for concession price tickets, where applicable. This includes seniors, students and health care card holders. You may be asked to show your valid concession card when purchasing or collecting your tickets or on entering the venue and may be denied entry should you fail to supply valid ID relating to your concession.
Ratings and Content Warnings
Adelaide Fringe is an open access festival and does not see or curate any of the works prior to the festival. All events are self-rated by the Artists and Events and Adelaide Fringe does not take any responsibility for an incorrect rating, or unsuitability of an event.
Unless a performance is categorised as a children’s event, show content may not be suitable for all ages.
Please note, some venues may have liquor licensing in place that does not allow under 18s in past a certain time. If unsure, you are advised to contact the venue.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the program and its details, however event details, prices and ratings are subject to change wherever necessary and without notice.

If you are unsure if a payment has gone through, please contact Adelaide Fringe by calling 1300 621 255 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org immediately. If payment has been unsuccessful, we can happily help you secure your tickets. We are unable to provide a refund for duplicate bookings, so if you are unsure, it is best to check with us before proceeding on a secondary transaction.
