Gift in Will

Join the After Party

Since 1960, Adelaide Fringe has challenged artists to be brave, inspired audiences to take risks and championed cultural diversity, inclusivity, acceptance to ensure the cultural, social and economic force of arts in our State.

Leaving a Gift in Will is a chance to keep the Fringe party going long after you’ve headed off. You can support the Arts Unlimited from beyond the grave, before the grave, by having a chat with us about leaving a Gift in Will. We know there’ll come a time when you’ll no longer be amongst the crowd of Fringe-goers, so leave a gift and help fund the after party!

There are many ways to reserve a part of an estate for a particular beneficiary. This might include defining your personal assets and property, a fixed sum (pecuniary), or the remainder of your estate after specific legacies have been disbursed (residuary), or a percentage of either the residue or your entire estate. Residuary and percentage are the most beneficial to charities like ours because they hold their value over time, resulting in a greater impact. We encourage you to discuss your intentions with your family and legal advisor.

‘Father of the Fringe’, Frank Ford AM

Founding Chairman of Adelaide Fringe Frank Ford AM, bequeathed $200,000 to the Adelaide Fringe to be given out as an annual award of $20,000 to a South Australian artist to present their work interstate or overseas. We are incredibly grateful for his generous gift, allowing local performers to progress their career.
