The Swinger's Club

Music • Jazz
International • Adelaide Fringe Premiere

Celebrate the end of the Fringe in style when The Great Gatsby meets Lady Gaga in this fabulous 1920's themed event! The Swinger's Club takes inspiration from artists like Postmodern Jukebox & Richard Cheese to put the "Swing" back in popular music.

Previously playing to capacity audiences in the Umbrella Festival and more, "The Swinger's Club" features powerhouse vocalists Kylie Ferreira & Louise Messenger (The Boswell Project/Swingers Club/Shake Your Booty/Roar) reunited for the first time since 2017 in this one-night-only Adelaide Fringe debut.

Join them and their fabulous 10 piece band for a night complete with tap dancers, costume prizes, vintage DJ's and even a free swing dance class from Eight Count Dance so you can shimmy the night away with all the bright young things!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This event has changed venues since the  Adelaide Fringe Guide was printed.

Presented by: Louise Messenger

Louise Messenger & Kylie Ferreira both trained at the Elder Conservatorium and were drawn together by a shared love of jazz and harmony. Their joint projects have spanned the world, performing in The Boswell Project with Valeska Laity from 2012-2017, where they produced three ★★★★★ sell out Fringe shows, a sell out season at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, a tour of New Orleans and an EP, as well as numerous other projects - including the first incarnation of The Swingers Club.
Louise relocated to London in 2017, and the ensuing years have seen them both continue to perform and grow as musicians and friends, though an ocean and a pandemic has prevented them performing together. This exciting reunion of like minds is long awaited and The Swingers Club will certainly be a night to remember!
