Ticket Types Explained

Full Price (FP) - The standard ticket price for a performance.

Concession (C) - For many performances, general concession prices are applicable to full time students, those with a government issued health care card, Seniors Card holders and children under the age of 18. Proof of status must be presented at the venue. Concession tickets are only valid when accompanied by appropriate identification.

Child (Ch) - Children aged between 2 and 12 years of age can purchase a child's priced ticket.

Children aged between 13 to 17 are considered concession and all children are considered a concession if there is no child's price listed.

Full Price tickets apply to all those 17 and over unless they have a concession card.

Under 2s - Babes in arms or those under 2 years old are counted toward COVID capacity and therefore will require a ticket for admission.

Family (F) - A family ticket will admit 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children at a discounted price.

Preview (Prev) - Be the first to see it! Preview prices are available for some performances – the artists get to road-test their work before their official season opens, and you get a cheaper ticket. Win-win right?

Midweek Treat - Offers discounted tickets for Monday to Thursday performances.

Group 6+ (Gr 6+) - A group price may be available on selected performances when 6 or more tickets to the same event are purchased in one transaction.

BankSA cardholders - Enjoy special prices on selected performances. This offer is limited to 2 tickets per BankSA cardholder, per event, and a limited number of tickets are available. Upon your first purchase you will need to enter the first 6 digits of your BankSA card at checkout for a one-time verification. NB: Discount for BankSA cardholders does not apply to the booking fee and is only available until price types sell out.

Fringe Members (FM) - Receive 2for1 tickets to selected performances. For Fringe Members the offer is limited to 2 tickets per Fringe Member, up to 5 events. Fringe Fanatic Members can select up to 2 tickets per event, with no limit to how many events you can book for. Buy a membership for only $25 and reap the benefits! There are a limited number of Membership tickets available, so this offer is only available until the price type is sold out.

Watch from Home - This is an online only ticket type meaning that you will be enjoying this performance from the comfort of your own living room.

Watch from Home Household - You can purchase this online only ticket when you have more than one person in your household viewing the online performance.

Double Your Applause - Admits 1 patron. By purchasing this ticket, you are buying ticket entry for one patron and giving some much-needed bonus dollars to artists to show your support during this difficult time.

Companion Card - Companion Card holders are entitled to a complimentary ticket for their companion, when purchased with a paid ticket. Adelaide Fringe is delighted that Companion Card tickets are available for all events at Adelaide Fringe. Online, Companion Card holders are able to be issued with a Companion Card ticket in conjunction with a paid ticket after an initial verification process.
