The Adelaide Comedy Gala is fast becoming somewhat of an institution. After 13 years of success, we are thrilled to announce its return in 2022 to Adelaide’s favourite comedy venue-The Arkaba Hotel! Previous line ups have included star studded talent: Fiona O'Loughlin, Peter Helliar, Tom Gleeson, Hans, Dilruk and Arj Barker!
With a collection of selfless comedians committed to donating their time and talents to raise funds and awareness for the Sammy D Foundation, let’s give them the support they deserve. This event is open to ALL Adelaide Fringe and comedy buffs and WILL SELL OUT!

On Sunday 4 May 2008, the life of 17 year old Sam Davis was tragically cut short. Sam fell victim to a one punch attack. Following their devastating loss, Sam's parents founded the Sammy D Foundation, with the ultimate aim of providing
skills to young people to prevent such a tragedy from happening again.
Thirteen years on, the Sammy D Foundation has spread Sam's message across hundreds of schools, community groups, and sporting clubs, raising awareness and educating over 160,000 young people.
The Sammy D Foundation educates over 20,000 young people yearly on the impacts of violence, bullying, and alcohol and other drug misuse whilst also providing positive role modelling and mentoring support to 40 at-risk young people each year.
