Join the City of Adelaide Band together with the smooth voice of the talented Nina V for their only performance this Fringe in the exquisite ambience of the Norwood Concert Hall. Let us entertain you with a selection of jazz and big band classics introduced by Adelaide's own media personality, jazz musician and friend of the band, Keith Conlon.

The City of Adelaide Band Inc is a community band, currently comprising of more than 40 amateur musicians, all of whom volunteer their time to provide community entertainment.

The band was formed in 1936 and celebrated its 75th birthday in 2011.

The band provides public entertainment within the Adelaide City Council area and regularly plays in Rundle Mall, at free community concerts and at community events in the city. The band also has a close association with and acknowledges the generous support provided by the Adelaide City Council.

Participating in the Adelaide Fringe is one of the band's main ways of fund-raising. All funds raised directly support the band.

The band rehearses at St Stephens Lutheran Church hall on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9.30
