Nayima Hassan is SA’s leading lady of Belly Dance having performed over 8,000 shows worldwide to include appearances for Mick Jagger, Prince Edward & Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Nayima began her career in 1987 with a local debut at the Arts Theatre in Adelaide. Celebrated nationally & internationally as a world class entertainer, she continues to perform & teach regularly as students & audiences of all ages & cultures remain captivated by her magnificent dance of Egypt.
Set within a historic 1860’s church, her Academy & charismatic Fringe venue at 240 Franklin Street is adorned with exotic décor & grand statues. The centre is globally unique as a shrine to the dance of her Egyptian heritage. Experience an ancient art form with a modern twist at SA’s own little Egypt in the heart of Adelaide.
