Adelaide Fringe Volunteer program is an integral part of making Australia’s biggest arts festival the success that it is. In 2023, 140 incredible and diverse Fringe Volunteers contributed a total of 1,535 hours across the festival, more than half of which have been participating for years. But beyond the stages and exhibitions, there's a major consideration from the organisation behind the festival to maximise the impact of the audiences and tourism generated as a result of Adelaide Fringe. In partnership with the City of Adelaide the introduction of the 'Fringe Deals' campaign that adopted the cheeky slogan “Show us Your Tix” was not just an attempted stroke at bridging art with commerce but also a shining example of how a major festival can boost tourism and give parallel businesses a chance to thrive.

Adelaide Fringe Wins Excellence in Accessible Tourism at the 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards

Last Friday, Adelaide Fringe was announced as the winner of Excellence in Accessible Tourism category at the 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards.
This is the second year in a row Adelaide Fringe has taken home gold in the South Australian Tourism Awards, having been awarded gold in both the Major Festivals and Events categories in 2022.

ADELAIDE FRINGE’S 2024 POSTER MARCHES INTO VIEW

The artwork set to become the face of Australia’s biggest arts festival in 2024 was unveiled this morning at Adelaide Airport. Rebecca Davis’ submission titled ‘All In’ will be showcased throughout the 2024 Adelaide Fringe, after being selected from more than 450 submissions.
The theme for the 2024 poster was ‘Arts Unlimited’ which asked artists to interpret diversity and access in their submissions and to show why Adelaide Fringe is the ONLY place to be this February and March!
