Fabulous French tunes sung beautifully by Louise Blackwell, accompanied by a stellar 6 piece band. The story of French singer Juliette Greco weaves through the show. I saw this in the gorgeous Woodville Town Hall, a perfect cabaret style setting!
DOMINANCE + submission - A hand reaches for a woman's throat. The words "sin with us" are below.

We were expecting weird kinky sh!t and this delivered. Flawless, athletic acrobatics and real BDSM. Rope work as performance: it has to be seen to be appreciated.

A bit of crowd work, a great narrative, a cascade of callbacks, a closing song, and a manufactured (though entirely deserved) standing ovation.

We’ve seen Lauren do short sets at comedy nights over the last few months, and we were looking forward to her full show. It didn’t disappoint: great material, woven together in an hour that keep us laughing.
enSOMNIA - Female aerial performer with curly hair is suspended high above a stage on a large metal crescent moon, performing a difficult split by threading one leg through their arms while holding onto the top of the apparatus. A blend of blue and red lighting creates a purple haze, as fog drifts up and behind them, which highlights their sparkling blue costume.

A powerful story told through strong acrobatics and song. A crescent moon and a bed are among the aerial props providing a platform for outstanding feats.
The Defiant - Seven female and gender queer artists stand facing the camera with torn clothes and war paint on their faces with a stark deserted landscape behind them. They have expressions that range from determined to fierce, resigned to playful. The colours in clothes, face paint and background are faded greens, maroon and faded grey.

The music and the circus skills combine to provide an exhilarating show. This was an award winner in 2022 and you have the perfect opportunity to see it if you missed it then.
