Michelle Pearson has to be one of Australia’s most underrated performers. Down Under is the third of her Adelaide Fringe shows we’ve seen in recent years and together with her band, we loved over an hour of what can only be described as Classic Aussie Bangers. If you love Australian music, you won’t be disappointed with a setlist that spans the generations. With one more performance coming up at The Arkaba and a Fringe closing night finale at Plant 4 Bowden, this is a show not to be missed.

Undoubtedly the best show of the Fringe we’ve seen so far this year. Gill Cordiner is a talented and highly relatable comedian who combines her art school sketching skills, a natural inquisitiveness about people and a brilliant wit to create an engaging, witty and memorable show. Amazing audience engagement, great stories and best of all, I now have a portrait sketch of myself too!

Music can take us to a time and place, stir emotions or jog memories. Team this with an intensely personal story and you have one helluva show by a very talented performer. Backed by her terrific band, Michelle’s performance delivers, and some. She is an Adelaide born legend in the making.

What a clever and creative concept. Seeing Jurassic Park performed with such conviction notwithstanding the butchering that translation did to the script was an extremely funny show that had us laughing for the full hour!

Does exactly what it says on the box!

Poignant, funny, deep and … well … not so much. This emotional roller coaster of a show takes you on a deeply personal journey through James’ experience of trauma. A really enjoyable and moving show.

Now who hasn’t had a rough Ikea assembling experience … a miss-read instruction, a missed step or a lost screw? This show has it all, including brilliant sabotage cards that make the already difficult challenge of an IMEA assemblage time trial even more complicated. Good humour and good moments abound in this game show with a twist. a light, enjoyable and highly relatable show! If you're lucky, one of the contestants will select and use the hurricane sabotage task 🤣🤣.
