London Calling
25 March 2026 - Andrew G.The best circus show at the Fringe, in my opinion, with personality that matches the spectacle! Huge variety of performances, filled with wit and skill, all wrapped up in a fun London theme. Perfect for families AND adults! -
Forgotten Tributary
20 March 2026 - Andrew G.A fantastic, fantastical modern folk tale, Forgotten Tributary begins with a young man waking up lost on his rowboat, who soon finds himself stalked by a threatening, featureless figure. Also, there’s a cat who can spot rips in space and time. Expertly told with the help of audio, lighting, and a few props, Forgotten Tributary is a captivating tale and a must-see for fans of storytelling theatre. -
SNOUT: The rock opera
20 March 2026 - Andrew G.A ridiculous concept played straight, and featuring fantastic music. I wish the vocalists were mixed higher, but if you like rock gigs, this is a very unique and entertaining one! -
Wright&Grainger's SELENE
20 March 2026 - Andrew G.Beautiful story about identity, names, and the moon. -
WHY ENGLISH?
20 March 2026 - Andrew G.An energetic, enthusiastic, charming performance about realising you had your history taking away from you without even knowing, and the impacts of colonialism on identity. Great stuff! -
PARTY BOAT
20 March 2026 - Andrew G.Exactly what it says on the tin! A cruise on the Popeye with a bar and DJ (who takes requests, even our ridiculous ones). The cruise itself lasts for an hour as the sunsets (allowing you to get some beautiful photos), then you get an extra half an hour to party at the dock (with toilet accessibility thankfully). -
Karen Houge: Dreamgirl
04 March 2026 - Andrew G.A thought-provoking performance about having faith in strangers, Dreamgirl packs an emotional punch while never becoming cloying. Houge shows compassion and honesty, all the while remaining endlessly engaging and ensuring everyone has a good time with activities and games to help illustrate her points. A show that will stay with you long after you leave, Dreamgirl is as inspiring as it is entertaining. -
Con Coutis: Joke Protocol (Live Comedy in Surround Sound)
27 February 2026 - Andrew G.Con once again tries to con us into thinking he's a stand-up comedian, when he's actually an incredibly talented and funny physical performer. Using his natural comic timing, wit, technology and a little bit of help from the audience, Joke Protocol is a hilarious, inventive, and clever spy film parody. A damn fun time! -
Beyond the Red Thread
27 February 2026 - Andrew G.A collection of contemporary and experimental dance pieces examining different aspects of womanhood. Some pieces were sensual, some rather beautiful, others surprisingly brutal! I didn't feel there was a single dud and despite the wide range of moods and themes explored, it all felt like a cohesive whole. Loved it! -
Embarrassed Naked Female (this show contains nudity)
27 February 2026 - Andrew G.A show as funny as it is confronting, Couvreur does a fantastic job telling the story of her frustrating and sometimes disturbing ongoing ordeal with wit, charisma, and confidence. A dark dive into the world of porn forums (but again... she makes it funny!) Loved her taking power back into her own hands at the end! Also, see The Sensemaker. -
An Evening with Dame Granny Smith
26 February 2026 - Andrew G.By the end of this show, you will believe an apple with some bites taken out of it is a sentient being. Basically, it’s light comedy with just the right amount of edge to keep us guessing and laughing. But it isn’t quite all jokes, as the reveal of the inspiration behind the show lends it some emotional weight. This is definitely a comedy first and foremost, though, and it’s a fantastic one. Every member of the audience was in stitches and beaming on their way out, myself included. -
CVNT
26 February 2026 - Andrew G.Basically, a clown show in which said clown is dressed as a certain part of the human anatomy. Extremely heavy on (voluntary) audience participation, she plays games with us and hosts activities that involve the titular genitalia. I’ll just say that by the end, the audience was joyfully dropping c-bombs like there was no tomorrow, and it was somehow an empowering and cathartic event that brought us all together.
