END DATE: 30 March 2025
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
EMPLOYMENT: 0.6 FTE part time (28 October 2024 to 5 January 2025) | 1.0 FTE full time (6 January 2025 to 30 March 2025)
SALARY: $62,000 per annum (pro rata), plus 11.5% superannuation
Under the direction of Operations Manager, the Volunteer Coordinator’s principal role is to facilitate the volunteer program for Adelaide Fringe. This role involves coordinating the recruitment, induction, training, scheduling, and deployment of Adelaide Fringe’s 150+ volunteers, as well as providing ongoing support to all volunteers. In the lead up to and during the delivery of Adelaide Fringe, the Volunteer Coordinator will be required to work outside of normal business hours (weekends and evenings) over a 7-day roster.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Previous experience working coordinating people in a Volunteer Coordinator role or similar position
- Excellent time management skills, ability to manage complex tasks, on the job learning and competing deadlines concurrently
- Ability to remain adaptive, agile, and focussed, especially throughout festival weeks
- Demonstrated high level attention to detail and record keeping skills
- Experience in administering schedules and/or in scheduling staff and/or volunteers
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a broad range of committed staff and stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, in a professional and ethical manner
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically and to plan ahead
- Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends essential
- High level computer literacy and competency with ticketing systems, databases, internet, email (Outlook), G Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Experience in coordination of volunteers within the Be Collective volunteer management system
- Experience with project management software such as ClickUp
- Relevant academic studies or professional experience in the arts, festivals, events and/or related industry
