Arguably the most ambitious production Adelaide has seen this year.

Or at the very least the most original.

Or the only one featuring ballet dancers on electric unicycles, a full live band with a highly eclectic, original soundtrack, a world class mentalist, an entire cast of dancers, acrobats, synchronised projection mapping and; an actual unscripted artificial intelligence guiding the show in a different direction every night.
Directed by Gavin Robins (National Institute of Dramatic Arts, the Broadway production of King Kong, Dreamworks, Sydney’s Olympic Opening Ceremony), and performed by Crimsonion, an international ensemble of performers, the show touches deep in the gaping wound of modern human’s struggle with technology.
Composer and initiator Maarten Rischen: “If you watch any science-fiction related to our technological future, the message is always the same boring dystopian one: the robots, the algorithms, the tech are going to take our jobs, take over our sovereignty and take away our humanity. You’ve heard it all before. We strongly believe art inspires reality, so the need for a once utopian vision is highly needed.”

“But to get to that bright technological future, we have some conscious choices to make. Whilst our technology evolves rapidly, our body and brains are still the exact same as those of our ancient ancestors. So if we learn to listen again to the whispers of those generations before us, make amends with our evolved urges for tribal connection and purpose - in short, become more human than we’ve been for a while now - and only then merge with the machine, our ‘post-human’ future is going to be an extremely fun, liberating and exhilarating ride.”
