Overall I enjoyed this show however felt it could use with some editing and tidying up in the transition between scenes. Took about 30 mins to really warm up and fully immerse the audience in the INTIMO world. Could have ended a lot sooner than it did and still had the same (if not, more powerful) impact. The music was another character in this world. Some delightful mashups and tender queer love depictions that sustained my attention.

Another show that was chronically sold out in 2023 that I was lucky to catch this fringe. From start to finish - tantalising burlesque, breathtaking circus, soulful musical styling of locals Emile and Eliza, put together by the fiery mistress of ceremonies herself fafi d'alour.

Really glad I took a chance on this one. Plus, I was dying to know how Frankly got banned from Savers. See the show and find out for yourself.

Seeing a Reuben Kaye show is a delightful departure from the hell of every day life. Just go see him, you won't be disappointed.

This was my first Fringe show of 2024 and sadly it was a disappointment. The venue despite claiming to be accessible had an a-frame sign and a sharp turn at the main entrance which was tricky to navigate as a person with a mobility aid even with a support worker with me. Once in the show, it quickly became clear that this show was about punching down at folks with lived experience of eating disorders and mental illness. We left within 5 mins of arriving.
Wonderfully Terrible Things - A curvaceous woman in black and gold lingerie stands in the middle of a group of performers also in lingerie. They are looking at her and she is staring at the camera.

This show was chronically sold out in 2023 and having now had the opportunity to see it, I can understand why. With Cirque Songstress Christine Ibrahim at the helm, we are guided through a world full of sideshow, opera, burlesque and circus featuring some of the best fringe performers around. Be sure to check this out next time it comes.

From arrival to departure, we were taken care of beautifully by our delightful host Miss Molly. The acts were phenomenal featuring both local and interstate artists punctuated by the camp commentary of Miss Molly in between. Be sure to check out any feature show featuring these acts, you're in for a treat.
Galah Galah - A sky-blue backdrop. Gemma, who is tan with dark curly hair and bleached eyebrows, wears a hot pink dress and matching high-heel shoes, she is sitting on the floor with her legs out and hands in her lap, surrounded by pink feathers. She is looking a bit defeated and looking off to the side.

A wonderfully honest and beautifully performed cabaret. Equal parts fierce and vulnerable. Much respect!

Reuben Kaye is one of my all-time favourite performers and this latest show reaffirms why. Whether you've seen him before or not, just make sure you get a ticket while you can! Cheeky storytelling with heart, combined with saucy, larger-than-life humour, and a truly phenomenal voice. Reuben is a must-see!
Bits Akimbo: Get in the Boot - Three comedians stand against the trunk of a white sedan, one holding a cowboy boot. They're dressed in pastel suits and white pants. The vibe is 80's Miami Vice. They look really cool.

Booked this show at a whim and absolutely loved it. Terrifically absurd, it made me laugh-cry. Will be keeping an eye out for future shows from these guys!

Saw this on Sunday and I'm still thinking about it. Compelling, thought-provoking, honest: pure excellence, and the best show I've seen this Fringe. My only 'criticism' was the size of the audience - 'Blood of the Lamb' absolutely deserves full-houses. Go see it! Go see it! Go see it!

Watched this show today. The first half wasn't that great and a bit sad to be honest. One thing the guy on stage mentioned was that you get what you pay for, and this show was 20 bucks. The second comedian was much better and I think the whole $20 needs to go to him.
