So wonderful to see the Barden Party back at the Fringe, and bringing such an incredible performance! The cast are completely engaging and make this an unmissable highlight of the festival season. Cant recommend this show enough!!!

Absolutely phenomenal, beautiful performances from a phenomenal, beautiful cast. A must see for people who think they don't like Shakespeare.

Now that's a performance I'll remember for the rest of my life. Well acted, delivered with passion with a mix of song and music the old Bard himself would be proud of. Oh and the location is fantastic.

The Barden Party have proved that all the world's a stage by taking their Shakespearean productions to venues of all shapes. They roost this Fringe at the Botanic Gardens amphitheatre which feels purpose-made for this utterly delightful presentation of Macbeth. The bard's immortal words are only gently modernised with but a peppering of contemporary language, and the play's power is elevated through the addition of music, bluegrass style, swelling the passions where mere words could not suffice.

I finally understood Macbeth through this intensely well performed production. Outstanding

This was GREAT. I've seen Macbeth six or seven times, all different styles--Panto Macbeth, Macbeth for Babies, a Singapore version where Lady Macbeth was secretly a fox spirit--and this is my favorite. Awesome music, awesome acting, awesome physicality. Mayyyybe the best play I've seen all year.

Brilliant performances all round. Fun, sassy, clever blend of music and acting. So much like wandering minstrels of Shakespeare’s time. A must see!

Five star adaptation of the Scottish play with music, in the Botanic Gardens, over ninety glorious minutes. The performances are stellar, the adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most difficult plays and most treacherous roles is something everyone can enjoy. This is a company on the top of its game. If you miss this, you really have missed out!
