Thoroughly entertaining! All the performers are supremely talented and make for an unforgettable experience. Queen Duncan especially spectacularly portrayed with humour and wit!

A gender bending, raucous romp of a Shakespeare performance, filled with quick quips & physical comedy, as well as angst & madness that tears at the heart. Beautifully woven with bluegrass songs that reflect the emotional highs and lows of the classic MacBeth. There are plenty of authentic moments that Shakespeare afficiados will love, coupled with a new take to engage modern audiences.

Awesome energetic acting. Lots of clever, funny moments bringing to life an ancient play. Lovely interplay of the live Bluegrass music. Would love to see more of the Barden Party.

Having seen them twice I have to say it is harrowing, raw and emotional. Yet the skill with which they perform and their song choices made me feel so deeply connected to the performance and with the other members of the audience. Never have I seen a live show cut me to my core and bring me to tears yet have me laughing the very next second. They deserve the world and are an absolute must, they have me as a forever fan

Magical. Awesome performance in a perfect setting. Truly summed up for me what a Fringe is all about … fresh ideas, innovative work, performed brilliantly. Shakespeare would have loved it!

Phenomenal, spectacular, will never stop talking about this show. How Shakespeare is meant to, and deserves to be performed. The whole cast was just stellar, from the comedy to the acting to the musicality everyone worked so beautifully together.

Such an amazing setting for this unique show. The performance was spot-on, the music was great, and watching the bats fly overhead during the spooky bits made it even more fun!

I took a couple of teenagers to see this show…they were skeptical 🤣 BUT The Barden Party were amazing. The performances were raw & authentic, the music was fabulous and I loved the way the changing daylight worked with the show. My kids have not stopped raving about it & are asking to see it again. I’m recommending it to everyone I talk to…completely fabulous show

Awesome night out in the gardens. Barden Party do Shakespeare that's lively, thrilling, heartfelt, and funny. Plus live music with energetic rhythm and lush harmonies. All three generations in our group loved it. Make sure you bring your cushion, the gardens are beautiful but the seats are hard.
