The Barden Party have proved that all the world's a stage by taking their Shakespearean productions to venues of all shapes. They roost this Fringe at the Botanic Gardens amphitheatre which feels purpose-made for this utterly delightful presentation of Macbeth. The bard's immortal words are only gently modernised with but a peppering of contemporary language, and the play's power is elevated through the addition of music, bluegrass style, swelling the passions where mere words could not suffice.

A hilarious and educational visit to the 11th century, and the reign(s) of Pope Benedict IX. Pedro charms the audience with his clear enthusiasm and keeps the show moving at a breakneck pace. Highly recommended

Delightful. Funny, interactive, surprisingly tightly choreographed, and even sweet. Anyone born in 198X is sure to get a kick, jump, punch or special out of this!

Terrifically skilled performers make it look easy. It's not, they're just really, really good! Do yourself a favour and go see it!
