Adelaide Fringe 2021

Waterbuffalo the Musical

Sacrificial Gods, star-crossed lovers, and pagan rituals intersect to make a thrilling night of music, magic, and more. With everything from salsa to country music, it explores the depths of the imagination, exploring human nature, and challenging the boundaries of life as we know it it its world debut. Using an original work, written and composed by a 16-year-old, it is entirely performed and run by people under 18. The show is ultimately about how society influences the adolescent psyche, the development of nihilism, and teenage escapism. Using an extravagant course of events, the extremes are tested, traversing reality to a realm of ambiguity and moral promiscuity.
