Every year thousands of South Australians come to WEA to have fun and learn something new! The WEA is an iconic Adelaide institution, founded in 1913 to support working men and women to access education they could not otherwise afford. Today the WEA operates as an innovative, flexible provider of adult learning and remains committed to making education accessible for all with moderately priced short courses. Subjects cover a huge range of topics including languages, computing, history and travel, food and beverages, health and wellbeing, creative arts, fitness and dance, music, home, lifestyle and more. The WEA building in Angas Street is centrally located and fully accessible with on-site parking and a range of classrooms and studios of various sizes available for hire.
