Established in 2012, The Howling Owl was originally located with sister business and much-loved Adelaide Fringe venue Rhino Room and hosted successful Fringe seasons for acts including Joel Creasy, Lehmo, Dave Thornton, Lindsay Webb and Greg Fleet. The Howling Owl relocated to much larger premises in 2017 and is now located deep in the heart of Adelaide’s East End precinct at the corner of Vaughan & Cinema Place, just off vibrant Rundle Street and has gone on to host Danny Bhoy, Carys Eleri, Jeff Green, Emma Malik and Jarred Fell. The Howling Owl works in partnership with local artist mecca Urban Cow Studio to offer a well-established 90 seat, airconditioned performance space with walls adorned by a wonderland of local artwork, a mezzanine bar, balcony and exciting Adelaide Fringe vibe in a specialty gin and coffee den environment.
