The RSASA Gallery, Level 1, Institute Building corner of North Tce & Kintore Ave, Adelaide. A historic gallery, having been built in 1906 for the RSASA. The RSASA maintains a membership of creative artists in all media of art. A member based art society, the oldest in Australia with a prolific membership of professional & emerging artists. Artists showcase their art in our gallery during up to four Members' exhibitions per year. The RSASA Gallery has an amazing skylight allowing daylight to enter the gallery from above, playing with the lighting effects as the sun passes over. The RSASA stages Youthscape exhibitions for artists 15 - 26 years, as well as the RSASA Portrait Prize and Abstract Prize exhibitions. With talented tutors, the RSASA hosts short workshops.  The RSASA also organizes a Life Drawing Group and a Friday morning Sketch Group celebrating 100 years 2023. There is much on offer to all artists. Historical research, and encouraging experimental contemporary art practices.
