The old stone school building is a historic landmark in an area marked out on early maps sent back to England for South Australian settlement. The area once featured an Inn and Post office, now converted into houses, with remnants of cottages scattered throughout. Built in 1898, the School was established at the start of 1899 and has served various purposes over the years, including hosting religious ceremonies, local dance nights, meetings, and more recently serving as tennis clubrooms.
Nestled amongst bushland it's regional location lends itself to a number of interesting events. The building itself it only 11m by 5m, however the 3 bitumen tennis courts provide ample space where we have held concerts and gatherings previously. There is also a mini amphitheater suitable for around 30 pax.
Parking for up to 50 cars is available. There are 2 toilets. Unfortunately no disabled access available.
