UNDEREXPOSED
What's your story? How would you tell it?
Counterfeit Collective presents UNDEREXPOSED for its 4th year at Fringe.
UNDEREXPOSED highlights emerging and experimental filmmakers, putting a diverse range of unique stories from voices and narratives often overlooked in mainstream cinema under the spotlight.
We are so excited to offer some new events and artistic collaborations this year.
We are teaming up with Moviejuice and bringing you a special event on March 1st where we bring local artists together through music and film at Adelaide's oldest theatre, The Queens.
Keep an eye out for our Window Film Festival which will be located at The Queens from February 16th and throughout the fringe (see our instagram for times and details).
We encourage discussion after each session about all the topics that arise in these short films. Let's debate over a drink and have a boogie to a local band.
Be there or be square.
Presented by: Counterfeit Collective
Counterfeit Collective is a team of makers in Tandanya on unceded Kaurna country (Adelaide, South Australia).
We are artists, writers, producers, directors, focused on film and media. We aim to promote new projects and create opportunities for local makers, especially those who are up-and-coming and are non-straight-white-guys.
Our current projects are the ongoing UNDEREXPOSED Film Festival, coming into its forth edition, and Rules to Being a F*ckgurl a comedy webseries now in post-production.
If you are a creative from one of the films showing in UNDEREXPOSED don't forget to book a ticket to the session in which your film is playing (you will be notified via email) and for our closing night which will be our awards event.
