TRUTH TO POWER CAFÉ - UNPLUGGED

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Storytelling
International • Adelaide Fringe Premiere

From London to Zagreb and now in Kimba for its Adelaide Fringe premiere, this inspirational performance event is a profound theatrical reflection on loss, hope, and resistance told through memoir, image, film, poetry, music, and true stories from the people of Kimba in response to the question ‘who has power over you and what do you want to say to them?’

Speaking truth to power is a non-violent means of conflict resolution, the origins of which lie in the anti-war movement. Is it to your parents, a sibling, politician, landlord, neighbour, banker, boss, or simply your best friend? It’s time to tell them the truth before it’s too late.

★★★★★ "Priceless social history, wit, wisdom and defiance." Attitude

Created, written, performed by Jeremy Goldstein with Henry Woolf
Directed by Jen Heyes

In collaboration with the District Council of Kimba and Ourtown Kimba.

Presented by: Jeremy Goldstein
