Tracy Crisp: The Forgettory - A woman sits in a vintage loungeroom setting, looking pensively at the floor

Tracy Crisp: The Forgettory

★★★★★ "Tracy Crisp's stories of memory and family are so vivid and affecting in The Forgettory they stay with you long after the theatre lights fade." The Advertiser

Alone in a new city, her last bottle of wine nearly empty, a woman drinks but can never forget. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, her grandfather wanders the past fighting to remember. And in between, there are memories of birth and death, childhood and adolescence. A profound story about a woman's identity, family memory and ageing. If we don't remember who we were, then who do we become?

(This year Tracy is presenting all 6 of her shows. Tix to each sold separately, but buy tix to 2 shows in the same transaction for a discounted price).

I have developed written and audio notes to provide added context for people who are blind or have low vision. You can access those notes here: https://www.tracycrisp.com.au/enhanced-program-notes/the-forgettory

"The art of storytelling relies on two things Tracy Crisp has nailed: entertainment and believability" InDaily.

Since 2018, Tracy Crisp has been creating a new show each year to debut at the Adelaide Fringe. Piece by piece she has created a series of six solo shows all told with her trademark blend of humour and poignancy. These hugely relatable middle-age reflections on daughterhood, parenthood, relationships and self, draw an eagerly-returning (and growing) audience to her sold-out performances.

Now, for the first time, Tracy is showing all six shows in one season. This is a unique chance to catch up on a show you’ve missed, rewatch one of your favourites, or see them for the first time.

Playful and poignant stories told with wit and Gen X wisdom.
