About this event

Following their hit European cycle tour in 2019, The HandleBards are bringing their barnstorming all-female production of 'The Tempest' to Adelaide Fringe.

And what's the play about? A shipwreck washes the court of Milan up onto a mysterious desert island, inhabited by a magician, sprites and monsters, and where nothing is as it seems... Join The HandleBards as they bring one of Shakespeare's final plays to life with magic, music and plenty of mayhem.

★★★★★ "The best version of The Tempest I have ever seen..."  Broadway Baby.

Praise for previous shows by The HandleBards:

★★★★½ "Blackadder meets Monty Python..."  The Advertiser

★★★★★ "Five stars just don't seem enough..."  The Sunderland Echo

Relaxed Performances: Thursday 5th & Thursday 12th March
