The Cocoon

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Interactive
SA Premiere
The Cocoon is an immersive, contemporary theatre experience presented in a series of vignettes which the audience is encouraged to actively respond to. The vignettes weave together telling a story about the universality of love, covering romance from all angles of gender, preference, sexual identity and ultimately self realization.
Set inside a cocoon this project invites the audience into the most intimate moments of the human romantic experience, it allows the audience to be a part of the claustrophobia, the discomfort and the joyous metamorphosis that make love so irresistible.
The Cocoon is a relevant, honest and deeply familiar work that will hit you right in the feels.
