2012 saw the launch of Carla’s Confessional Cabaret, starting with, Therapy: Cabaret Fringe Festival 2012. Her second instalment in her Confessional Cabaret series opened in 2013’s Cabaret Fringe Festival, Just Because I can! Followed by the sweet childhood Cabaret Born In the Spring, Adelaide Fringe Festival 2014. Once again returning to the Cabaret Fringe festival with a critically acclaimed, cautionary tale, An Au Pair In America.
2015 saw the beginning of her saucy and provocative character cabaret, Carla Anita - CABARET ITALIANO!!! Signorina Scrittore and EVOLUZIONE toured all around Australia. THAT'S LIFE brings Carla back to herself, raw and real.
