Strange Chaos

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Clown
Victoria • World Premiere

In a small corner of this dark world a car arrives, carrying a clown and his equipment. Ghosts gather around the glow from the headlights, like moths inventing their own sun. The clown unpacks and invites you to travel through time and space in the strange world of his chaotic thoughts. Those bright headlights stay with you and continue to appear only for you, like a smile lurking at the edge of a stranger's mouth.

★★★★ 'Jones is a master of physical theatre' - The Guardian

Created and performed by renowned artist Mitch Jones (AutoCannibal, Circus Oz, Slava’s Snowshow) this new work of physical theatre performed in a site specific location promises to be like no other fringe experience. Join us for a funny, beautiful and truly strange show that will linger in your thoughts for a lifetime.

Presented by: Oozing Future

Oozing Future is a collaborative network of artists founded in 2019 by Mitch Jones and Masha Terentieva to produce their first collaboration AutoCannibal (Darwin Festival, Sydney Festival).
With a shared background in circus, they create experimental physical theatre that uses high quality design to challenge and intrigue audiences.
Fusing circus, contemporary dance, clown and sideshow, they have forged a style of poetic visual theatre that is bold and unforgettable.
With a new ensemble show also in production, Strange Chaos will be their third show, made for site specific spaces and premiering at Adelaide Fringe.
