Stewart D'Arrietta with America's Least Wanted
This is a show not to be missed. Great songs. Great performance. Great Musicians.
D'Arrietta has put together a list of precious songs from his favourite songwriters: Randy Newman, Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen, adding some songs from his original album ‘My Magnificent Narcotic’.
D'Arrietta inhabits the underworld of the the lyrical tragedies and the jocular narratives with an ardent celebration. He romps through the songs with his trademark raw vocal style, punctuated by his laconic humour.
"..the opportunity to experience the remarkable Stewart D’Arrietta in live performance" Australian Arts Review
"A dynamic singer with a gravelly voice- imagine Tom Waits with overtones of Joe Cocker- and a wicked line in jokes and stories" Daily Telegraph
