Sovereign Acts | Love Praxis. A Flinders University Museum of Art exhibition with Unbound Collective
This landmark exhibition celebrates 10 years of critical and creative work by Unbound Collective. It features moving image, installation, song, poetry and performance, inviting audiences to rethink sovereign identity and representation through First Nations perspectives and methodologies.
Including activist-led creative arts practitioners and scholars—Ali Gumillya Baker (Mirning), Faye Rosas Blanch (Mbararam, Yidinyji), Natalie Harkin (Narungga) and Simone Ulalka Tur (Yankunytjatjara)—Unbound Collective embodies a shared praxis that engages with colonial sites of power and knowledge production. Based on Kaurna Yarta, their work centres on ethical practice and responsibility to honour their ancestors and future generations while engaging with global Indigenous movements to protect Country.
