Yes
This is a one-to-one performance, with one audience member per performance.
Sonder: The realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. In our current contemporary lives, we have a huge reliance on digital touch; with communication through devices being confused for feeling connected.
Sonder responds by offering a one-to-one interaction that aims to fulfil an innate desire for connection. Both human-to-human, and our sensory connection to materials. Set within an immersive installation, Sonder operates as a collaborative interaction between performer and audience. It explores the juxtaposition of comfort; both physical and in the familiar of the everyday; versus discomfort of engaging in the unknown.
Through shared stories, shared tactile activities and co-activities based on touch, material and presence, the participant is invited to: make the bed with the performer.
