Site interrupted (working title)

By conceiving of architectural structures and language as fluid and embodied, Taal promotes constant change or flux as inherent in the experience of site and self. Imbuing Sauerbier House with remnants of itself and others, Inneke seeks to interrupt the narrative and offer up a poetic renewal of site as a reflection upon impermanence. 'Site Interrupted' is the result of a 5-week studio residency where Inneke re-considers the very basis of 'heritage' as a way of navigating these concepts materially.
