Shadows of Herself
The mornings are chaos. She is always chaos. The vision of a business woman poised in conversation mocks her in the rear mirror. A new mother in pressed active wear strolls past, baby nestled in a pram more valuable then her car. A mother leaps from the lofty heights of an SUV. She isn’t a stay at home mum, she's a domestic engineer. A young mother parks abruptly, no ring, suit and flip flops, heels hanging on the edge of her bag, wearing an apologetic smile as her children are hurried past.
She sighs. She is surrounded by shadows of herself.

Presented by: Anna Thomas
Anna has had a long love affair with the theatre and a deep passion for Adelaide Fringe.
In 2018, Anna saw unprecedented success as a first time writer, producer and solo artist in her debut sell-out seasons at the Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe with her one woman show, "How to Drink Wine Like A W**ker".
Since then she has continued to perform and produce other works, as well as curate and manage the Fringe program each year for Treasury 1860 and most recently the Woodville Town Hall.
Still considering herself a novice in the arts industry, Anna is enjoying the trials and tribulations of presenting, performing, and occasionally drinking...to excess...um...success!
Her latest play "Shadows of Herself" will debut at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe.
