Sew Sparkly | The Gowns of The Mother of Fringe
Sequins and velvet and lace… oh my!
‘Mother of the Fringe’ and SA arts industry icon Marjorie Fitz-Gerald OAM is selling a selection of her handmade, glitzy garments to raise funds for Arts Unlimited - the philanthropic arm of Adelaide Fringe.
Browse the one-of-a-kind collection with the ten outfits up for auction, alongside a display of the last hand-beaded material ever created by Marjorie!
Tickets include food, wine, entertainment, and a special preview of the “If Fabrics Could Speak" exhibition by her daughter, Catherine Fitz-Gerald.
Not only will you have the opportunity to take home a truly unique item of clothing, but all funds raised from the auction will support artists and audiences to participate in and attend Adelaide Fringe.
Wear your sparkles for this pre-Fringe cocktail party!
Presented by: Arts Unlimited
