This show belongs to the Adelaide Fringe 2025 season. This season is now over.

2 individuals, one woman and one man, look up as the top of their heads open with fireworks and objects ejecting from their heads. We see a colourful play mat, a microphone, a mannequin, a handheld mirror, a Beyblade and the show's title in red, capitalised letters "RUMIMATE". This is all on an orange ombre to yellow background.
An awkward woman holding a blank, paper guitar wearing a yellow jumper in front of a red curtain. On top of her head sits an akubra hat, she's not wearing it properly, it just sits on her head.
2 adults lie on a neon orange inflatable couch. The female is stomach down with the male-presenting lying ontop of her. The woman is wearing a yellow jumper and black leggings, the male presenting person is in light blue denim jeans and a black jumper. They are both smiling at the awkward lying positions they're in.

RUMIMATE

Shortlisted for Best In Comedy at Sydney Fringe 2024!

The two mates wake after a wild night-in to a wrecked apartment and a Cop-Dad visit within the hour. It's the usual post-party mess; abandoned red plastic cups, food scraps and unknowable smears on the floor, a mysterious (potentially) dead body, plus guests that awkwardly linger. Hungover, they try to piece together events from the previous night through the frenzied process of cleaning; drunken karaoke, gameshows, defeating Gooch Man, and therapy with their geeky psychologist. Tensions rise as they manipulate to evade responsibility. Can they clear the mess and solve the dead body mystery before Cop-Dad arrives?

"Awesome!" Sydney Fringe Judge.

"A chaotic sketch comedy show with a surprising amount of heart." Satisfied audience member.

Claire Honeywood is an emerging artist from the South Coast of NSW. She has a rich history in theatre, has a Bachelor in Stage and Screen from CSU and a passion for making people laugh. Luckily, she's been told she's good at that. They're an improviser and playwright, with their works being produced and published through ATYP. After a successful run at Sydney Fringe last year, Claire is bringing back "Rumimate" with her dear friend Harry, to refresh the storyline about two young friends who are simply trying their best to not to be bad people, which can be so difficult at times. Harry Moorby is a talented actor from Wagga Wagga with a tapestry of acting credits under his belt, he has trained with NIDA and is easily one of the funniest guys Claire knows.
