River Dreaming

Music • Poetry
South Australia • Australian Premiere

River Dreaming is a intimate evening with world class indigenous musician Glenn Skuthorpe and bush poet A. B. “Ben” Eggleton as they share their life journeys through poetry and song. Glenn and A.B come together with their backing band to share stories of this vast sacred land. A unique show with a take away appreciation for how poetry and music has come to be quintessential to Australia's history.

The earliest poetry is believed to have been recited or sung. River Dreaming is just that, focusing on life stories and the strong culture that is the back bone of our country. Prepare for a bit of outback, grand stories of our land and a swag of urban street blues and folk.

"Glenn’s strong and weather-beaten voice rings true...this man is a poet." Dave
