James, Sandra and Susie will be the hosts on the boat ‘Qatar’ for a relaxing cruise and Art Workshop on the Murray River, Waikerie, South Australia.

Get up close and personal with nature and see the unique bird life, native flora and local fauna while cruising past 100 foot majestic limestone cliffs and glorious native gum and mallee trees on the picturesque banks of the River Murray.

Susie Skujins will be holding a "Cliff Painting Workshop" on board which will be done with Acrylic Paint, Powder Paint and Ochre. The technique will be mainly Pallet Knife work and the workshop has been designed for beginner creative to advanced. The Qatar will be moored mid river whilst painting the cliffs which will give the participants a wonderful chance to capture the beauty of them.

Presented by: Susie Skujins

I am a local Riverland Creative, everywhere I look I see the beauty that the River Murray offers from the flowing water to the Cliffs, Fauna and Flora. My background is in design and I have formal education in creating.
10 years ago I relocated to a Riverfront property in Qualco. This changed my direction in art as I fell in love with my surroundings. I now create paintings from my daily life.
I have a working studio where I hold Workshops, Art lessons and create. I am also part of the local Art Community in Waikerie and enjoy being a friend of the Rain Moth Gallery.
My belief is that you should never stop learning and to grow further "experiment" outside of your comfort zone, also there is never a mistake in Art it's learning process so enjoy the journey!

Meet at the Waikerie Riverfront 15 minutes prior to boarding. Wear flat shoes, a hat and Mozzie protection. For further details ring Susie 0428 692 766. In the cases of an extreme weather event the Cruise will be postponed to another day.
