Pictures in Time

Join composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist performer Mitchell Bartel for an anthology of original piano works. Written over the last 10 years, these eight musical snapshots showcase Mitchell's eclectic and evocative compositional style, presented masterfully through his musically rich command of the piano, and interspersed with insights and commentary from the composer.

There will be a bar at the venue with drinks available for purchase before, during, and after the show.

Mitchell Bartel is a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist performer of an eclectic range of musical styles. Having studied composition at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, his works include a catalogue of solo piano and choral pieces, as well as an EP released with his jazz/funk band DayGlow Freaks. Mitchell is also a long-time member and frequent composer/arranger for the international award winning Festival Statesmen Chorus, and currently works at the Australian Music Examinations Board.
