On the back of a series of successful screenings in Europe, North America and
Austrian television, 'Outside Light' is back in Adelaide for a third
season. Join Adelaide Poet & Film-maker Mark Niehus for an intimate
outdoor laneway screening of a collection of his independent poetry films.
This diverse collection of films explore the friction between ideals and
feelings of incompatibility with the status quo, digital privacy, domestic
violence, integrity and individuality. From 'We Are The Device' a glimpse
into a future where shifting privacy standards have gone unchecked to
'Shiver', a woman reflecting on her triumph over childhood domestic
violence. Hosted by Mixed Creative, this former casualty hospital in Port
Adelaide offers a unique Fringe venue experience.
