Noel and Gertie, Down and Dirty - A publicity photo of Gertrude Lawrence and Noel Coward from 1930

Noel and Gertie, Down and Dirty

Cabaret
New South Wales • World Premiere

A queer love story for our times. Noel Coward and Gertrude Lawrence were two of the biggest stars of world theatre in the middle of the 20th Century and whilst Coward's work continues to be produced and celebrated Gertie is much less well known. Australian musical theatre legends gather to remember, discuss, gossip and sing their hearts out. Starring Mariette Rups-Donnelly (Evita, A Chorus Line), Jonathan Mill (West Side Story, Cabaret), Mark Oates (Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd) and Deborah Caddy (My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera)  with Jeremy Brennan (Jersey Boys, Cabaret) as musical director. Playing at two venues, Ayers House Ballroom and Diverse-City on Gouger Street.

At Diverse-City, 'Meal & Show' and 'Show Only' Tickets are available. Times are: Meals 12:00PM & 6:00PM  / Shows 2:00pm & 7:30PM.
