RAWcollective, est. 2002 are honoured to have been chosen as one of the AFF artist fund recipients for 2020. RAW comprises a diverse group of creatives dedicated to collaborative arts practice and the development of immersive multi-artform theatre experiences that aim to tell women’s stories and encourage self reflection and growth. Brigitte Jarvis and Ru Atma are the key creatives behind No.33 and they have been making work together since 2014 on the Mornington Peninsula. Their work has empathy at its core and is highly emotive and relatable.
Frankston Arts Centre have been their champion of support since 2015, co-presenting 3 works & providing them with unwavering development support through funding from local, state and federal government. The Rabble Theatre were their mentors for No.33, which premiered at Frankston Arts Centre in 2019.
