Katie Aspel is a Ngarrindjeri Artist from Raukkan, music has been a huge part of her life as long as she can remember and having amazing role models in her life such as her Mum and Nan has really shaped the way she carries herself now. Katie uses music as a way of expressing herself as sometimes words are not enough. Katie recently graduated from CASM last year and was involved in the Nori Festival which she was the first recipient. It is also known as the Ruby Hunter Foundation, which is Katie's Great Aunt. Over the years Katie has not used every opportunity she has had for granted but as a steppingstone to become an example to young Indigenous Kids. Katie's passion for her music and culture is something that she will carry with her for the rest of her life!
