An emotional journey inside the complex mind of a controversial political leader – admired even by Winston Churchill who defined him as “the greatest living legislator”. A man who wanted to become the king of Europe and ended up being its jester.

"Tom Corradini had created a portrait of an engaging clown. Vain, overbearing & ridiculous, but also sentimental, frightened & resentful. There's a man underneath the bravado who pops out at the most unusual moments.  Corradini plays with his subject, one minute bellowing at a cowering audience, the next kissing the photo of his sainted mother. This is a caricature with depth reflecting the image of Il Duce as a clown, but he is also a man - comical, belligerent, foolish, intelligent & narcissistic. An excellent show and a brilliant performance."
