Michael Shafar - Well Worth the Chemo

Comedy • Stand-up
Victoria • SA Premiere

As seen on Network 10's The Project, Amazon Prime and his 60+ million views online.

Everyone's favourite Jewish, cancer-surviving, lawyer-turned-comedian, Michael Shafar, is back at the Fringe with a BRAND NEW show!

Shafar will explain how to reverse the brutal history of colonisation, why women should drunk-drive and which religion is correct . Fun for the whole family!

Shafar receives critical acclaim everywhere he performs, but his favourite ever review was from his oncologist who simply said: "Great show, Michael. You were well worth the chemo."

If that's not enough, this reviews sums up Michael's comedy perfectly:

"Shafar circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse"  ★★★★½ The Age

Presented by: Michael Shafar

Since leaving a career in law for comedy, Michael has been working hard to win his Jewish mother's forgiveness, and has (somewhat) achieved that, having performed around Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the US and on international waters.

He has since gone on to appear on Network 10's The Project and Studio 10, ABC's Comedy Bites, triple j's Good Az Friday, and toured four shows around the country, regularly selling out at Australia's major festivals, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

He's also had 60+ millions views online and his debut special A(LIVE) is out now on Amazon Prime.
