“MEN who DANCE” creator and director, Malcolm Harslett, always had the idea of an original show featuring men dancing; as men are often overshadowed in number by women in dance. When directing a play for the Star Theatre’s Back2Back Short Show Festival, Malcolm cast Charlie Herkes in an acting role. During the rehearsal period he discovered he was also an accomplished ballet dancer, trained at VCAS and QLD Ballet Company. After consultation with the Adelaide dance fraternity, we discovered other men who were accomplished dancers with abilities from ballet, tap, Hip Hop and all other forms of dance. The men developed their own routines peppered with a broad sense of humour and comedy and MENwhoDANCE was born. The show has won 2 Fringe Awards and 5 star reviews. This is its 4th season 2024

This is the 3rd year this ★★★★★ twin Fringe Award winning show is being presented in the Adelaide Fringe, directly after a S.A. country tour in Pt Lincoln, Whyalla, Pt Pirie, Mt Gambier, Renmark and Mildura.
