Since becoming a national RAW finalist in 2014, his first year of stand-up, Matt Storer has become one of the country’s brightest up-and-comers. He is a favourite in all of Perth’s comedy clubs and festivals, but his approachable and slightly unhinged comedy has earned applause across Australia and the UK.
His formidable vocals, lyrical word-smithing and flair for niche topics have seen music become a pillar of his comedic reputation. In 2018, his song White Hot scored him the top prize of the Liberty Comedic Free Thinker competition. Since 2021, his online original and parody songs have accrued tens of millions of views and a following of over 300,000.
